Technical requirements for installation​

The following technical specifications are the pre-requisites for using ExFlow Data Capture powered by Kofax with ExFlow.

Browser support​

• ExFlow Data Capture is compatible with modern web browsers. • JavaScript must be enabled in your web browser. • Note: ExFlow Data Capture powered by Kofax is not supported on Windows servers, such as Windows Server 2008, because security restrictions on Windows Server prevent ExFlow Data Capture from loading core components.

The below technical requirements are only applicable if ExFlow Data Capture is being used in connection with ExFlow on AX2009 and NAV 2013 R2 or earlier versions of NAV, otherwise all communication is being done through web API.

For AX2012 RSO connect is required for ExFlow versions up until 3.4. From version 3.5 (with patch) API connection can be used to transfer transaction data. From version 3.6 master data transfer is possible.

Technical requirements for installing RSO Connect:​

RSO Connect supports the following operating systems:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 8 and Windows 8.1
  • Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit)
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows Server 2016
  • Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2

RSO Connect requires the following:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 (always required).
  • An HTTPS connection which uses port 443 (always required).

Language support and image quality​

  • All invoice images must have a height of at least 500 pixels and a width of at least 500 pixels.
  • Recommended resolution: 300 DPI.
    • For Chinese document types, a minimum resolution of 400 DPI is recommended.
  • Color mode: Color, gray scale and bi-tonal images are supported.
